The London Canary Wharf 37th Floor Centre occupies the 1 Canada Square building, one of the most prestigious business addresses in the area. One of the tallest structures in the UK, this landmark building offers panoramic views over London. The building, which has an impressive marble reception area, is mainly used for offices. However, there is also an extensive selection of retail outlets on the lower ground floor as well as cafes and restaurants. Like the rest of Canary Wharf, 1 Canada Square is especially popular with international banks, insurance firms and media companies. Completed in 1991, the building, which was designed by architect Cesar Pelli, has gained iconic status, having appeared in several films, on television and in other media.
